pomnilievable: (...and Pomni!)

I had some questions regarding this girl here. In her series, Pomni is a consciousness displaced into a digital avatar. While I think this could open up a lot of interesting possibilities, I would like to get some feedback from the team to determine how to go forward.

So, as her body is digital, she would not have a physical form to get the implants, etc. However, I don't see this as too much a problem as each of those things could easily be seen as installing code into the avatar itself. This is just a check to see if that works.

The second point is how she'd interact within the world itself. It seems like the system may have some strong opinions with a digital character running around in the network. This is, of course, her current form's native environment. I think it could also be interesting to have her run around and exist in the real world -- and the holograms might allow for this -- but the exact nature of how this would work is something that I would appreciate your thoughts on.

Finally, mortality. As this is a digital avatar, Pomni's body works on cartoon logic. She can be stabbed and one other character had been dismembered and aside from the trauma of having that happen, they do not suffer permanent effect. Her digital body doesn't need to eat, drink, or sleep. However, she is not unaffected by these things. She does feel pain, and while she does not need to eat, drink, and sleep, not doing these will cause a certain degree of distress. If the distress reaches a critical mass her form will become unstable and bad thingsā„¢ happens.
