Hello mods! I have a couple of D&D magic-specific questions for you!
1. Regarding "blast/energy attacks" needing to be nerfed, does this include something like a warlock's eldritch blast? If you're unfamiliar with damage types in D&D, I would consider force damage to be concussive force, so something similar to Cyclops' eyebeam in X-Men. I'm okay either way, I just wanted to be sure for app writing purposes. EDIT: I guess I should clarify that as a cantrip it's not super OP so I wasn't sure where the line was or if it's a blanket nerf for all blast attacks!
2. Regarding no necromancy, I read the question upthread specifying that resurrection is out of the question, but what about spells that deal necrotic damage? This would be like draining the life force from something, causing flesh to decay, or something along those lines.
3. My warlock has the spell dream, which allows him (or someone else he casts the spell on) to walk into the dreams of another creature (so long as that creature sleeps and dreams). While there, he can communicate with the dreamer, and shape the environment. This is mostly innocuous, but if he tries to cause harm by giving them a nightmare, the dreamer has a chance to resist. Would something like this be allowed? It's not really mind control or reality alteration so I wasn't sure where it fell. Obviously, if it ever comes up, I'd make sure to get appropriate permission from all participants.
