Depending on the strength of this kind of ability, FFXVI characters with this ability will find they won't die or get petrified, but they will still experience pain. This pain can be the same kind of discomfort they feel or it can be painful in a different way.. or not AS painful as their canon pain.

Because this a game where we love pain. Please don't completely get rid of the pain aspect.
