For some characters, being told the truth of their actual selves living their original lives and being shown proof may be an easier method, while for other characters being offered monetary compensation and/or a promise of return would be a bigger and better motivator. We wanted the setting to allow itself to be open to interpretation to some degree and choose the best method of what works best for your character.
As far as we see, we have seen people in the game play this out in a variety of different ways, and that is genuinely what we like to see. As a mod team we are not here to police how people have decided to play with this, especially if that would be easier for their character to come to accept their new lives under LILITH. No assumption is wrong as long as it is within the realm of what is reasonable.
