APPROVED! cw: needles

A LILITH Drone will drop off Childe's hoverboard at his room.

Childe will be summoned to the medical bay where he will meet with Dr. Spim and Alex. They'll give him a run down of the procedure after that. He will be strapped to a table and nanobots will be injected into several muscles in his body. These nanobots will ravage through his body, destroying and reconstructing the existing muscle fibers. The process ... will not be fun for him at all. A lot like being eaten and chewed up from the inside, and for this to happen over and over again with no reprieve for a few hours. Painkillers will not be available and Dr. Spim will explain that this is because they are reserving them for emergency surgeries. If he agrees to all this, the procedure will begin.

By the end of it, it is expected that he will need a few days to recover and it's up to him whether he wants to do this in the medical bay or his own room. Dr. Spim is happy to sit on his lap and offer reassuring purrs if that will help him keep calm (it's very popular with patients, apparently).

When Childe does wake up, he'll find a message on his implant left for him by Seok Dang, our resident simulation engineer. It reads:

Heard you volunteered for the nanobots. Get a load of this guy! Can't get enough, huh? That's why you keep coming back. I love this little dude.

Left ya something. You're welcome ❀️

Right after, a playlist of songs will be downloaded into his implant. Yes, implants can do that. He can listen to this playlist inside his own head at any time. If he holds someone else's hand, they can listen to the playlist too.

As for the outcome of the procedure, it was a success and he'll find himself much stronger and sturdier than before! He will need some time to adjust, and this might mean may strength-related mishaps in his daily life (e.g. breaking things by holding them too hard).

If this doesn't work for you, feel free to let us know and we can negotiate something.
