▶ ABOUT QUESTS

Quests are mini missions that can be done during relaxed months. Each quest will feature an objective to be accomplished by characters. While mods can answer questions and provide more details about quests, we want quests to be largely controlled by players. As a result, mods will not be playing NPCs or setting up logs for quests. Instead, players are encouraged to make their own logs, add their own details, and make up their own NPCs to fit their plans. As long as nothing becomes game breaking or plot altering, we will allow it.

Side quests can take place in previously visited locations. To date, the current available locations are:

NeoTokyo, Kyoto, Okinawa, and Las Vegas.

Quests are open for everyone to participate in and can be completed by multiple people more than once. Quests can be stand-alone or part of a loose quest line depending on how interested and involved characters are. Furthermore, quests can be used to help break down large player plots that need to unfold over a period of time. Lastly, all quests are optional.

▶ IF I WERE A WORM

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Summary: In spite of the extensive clean up efforts, scavengers have found that pieces of the ALITTA VIRENS are fetching high prices in the underground markets. This is because even the smallest worm bits can be crushed and processed as a powerful hallucinogen. While the drug is still in the trial processes, it has been distributed through Vegas. Outsiders are called to assist the American researchers in obtaining more worm bits, and retrieving more information on it.
Objective(s): Collect worm bits and information.
Notes: Outsiders can warp to Las Vegas to complete this mission. They may need to disguise themselves to obtain information on it from the locals. They will be fitted with the proper equipment and tools to collect worm remains. LILITH also has hopes that this drug could be used as a sedative for surgery.

▶ NEEDS MORE SPICE

Location: Okinawa, Japan
Summary: Over the years, the chefs in Neo Tokyo have had to adapt to the environment and the natural shortage of certain delicacies. In light of this, they've become increasingly tired of having to make dishes from bioengineered food items. As a result, they have put in several requests from various agencies to help them secure different types of food items. They heard that a couple of items from Okinawa were being circulated and are in extremely high demand. Help the three star chefs and they may reward you with your very own culinary experience!
Objective(s): Help tired chefs obtain rare ingredients.
Notes: Outsiders can warp to Okinawa at any time to help with this quest. They will need to fight for these food items (i.e. battling the crabs on the beach) and/or will need to hike to obtain rare fruits and herbs.

▶ NO PLACE LIKE HOME

Location: Kyoto, Japan
Summary: Over the months, LILITH has set up a reliable data portal to Kyoto. They want to reclaim their old base and set it up as a second base in the future so they have asked some of the Outsiders to help clean up the old base. However, some Neo Tokyo residents and agencies have roots in Kyoto and have put in requests for the government to retrieve some things their families had to leave behind.
Objective(s): Help clean up the Old Kyoto Base and visit abandoned family homes and sites to retrieve lost heirlooms and mementos for the citizens.
Notes: Outsiders can warp to Kyoto at any time to help with this quest. Some of the fetch quest items range from old childhood toys and photo albums to important family documents and precious valuables.

▶ STREET FIGHTER

Location: Neo Tokyo, Japan
Summary: The Sapphire Room has been a recurring problem for Neo Tokyo's security agencies, including LILITH. After months of infiltration and raids of varying success, law enforcement thinks they might finally have some promising leads. They have narrowed down some suspected gangs in the city that might have connections to the Sapphire Room. These gangs dabble in drugs, blackmail, theft, and other crimes to fund their activities.
Objective(s): Investigate, infiltrate, or fight some of these gangs to get more potential leads for the future.

LINK - (adjacent to Izou's up there!) infiltrating a bar that's frequently a gang meeting place, where they're attempting to play as gang members looking to get involved in a raid on another gang's turf to shut it down. Silco is using his rep as a local gang's book cooker to get them an in

LINK - w/Callisto, posing as waitstaff on a meeting to listen in on a strategy session in the back of a restaurant

LINK - w/ Lilias, sneaking back past security using a combination of magic and a swiped keycard to gather intel and see if they can find a lead on the locations of some activity (smuggled kaiju parts etc)

LINK - w/Elysium, using Silco as the handler via implant and infiltrating a gang's location to snatch information from one of the hidden rooms in the back of the gang's base of operations

▶ RISE AND THRIVE

Location: Neo Tokyo, Japan
Summary: There is a festive and charitable air to the city as the end of the year draws near. Help raise funds to support families and individuals affected by this year's disasters and the usual social issues such as crime and food shortage. Outsiders will be encouraged to volunteer for local organizations or start up their own fundraisers. LILITH is even willing to help provide some support such as resources, time off, and funds to ensure success.
Objective(s): Volunteer and support local charities and organizations to help the people of Neo Tokyo.

▶ PAIN RELIEF

Location: Outside of Neo Tokyo, and potentially at other locations they've visited in the past, like Kyoto.
Summary: Plant hunting! Seeking out medical plant species in the nearby area for gathering and later cultivating for medical uses, specifically pain killers. Other useful plants could also be found.
Objective(s): To locate and procure medical plants that match the information Bakugo obtained from LILITH, Romania, the spice company, and his own research. To successfully transport these seeds, cuttings, saplings, and more back to Neo Tokyo for cultivation. Ultimately, this is for the goal to supply hospitals with pain killers or new anesthetics.

Notes: As proposed by the player, this quest will also work beside Raidou’s farming efforts player plot.
