APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN.

Applications open at 12:00 am GMT on the 5th BIMONTHLY and close on the 10th at 12:00 am GMT. Players can apply accordingly even if this page doesn't update to OPEN or CLOSED-- we will check time stamps.
Applications are SCREENED.
Application Months: January, March, May, July, September, & November.

 ▶ 01. INFORMATION.This is a unique application that will judge it's acceptance by roleplaying samples & suitability. Give us your best samples and a well thought out suitability section regardless of what kind of character you are applying for. The personality section is also important as it helps us categorize your character in their respectable team!

Applications should be posted in their entirety as a comment to this page.  Please do not link out to apps elsewhere. Applications must be complete with all sections filled out and meeting the stated requirements at time of submission. Failure to do so will result in a rejection.

All applications will be placed on a list updated throughout the app round, and will be read on a first-come-first-served basis, followed by a suitability judgment. Applications put in by a current player will also be indicated on the list. While reserves are not required to app, a reserve does prevent anyone else from apping that character until the reserve expires.  

In the event that we reach player cap, any applications that exceed the cap will remain on the list and be considered first in the next app cycle. This is a rolling application method. Should a player change their mind about their application, we ask that they notify us by responding to their posted application and letting us know they are retracting it. Their name will be taken off the list and whoever is next will be bumped upwards.

Synflux is a capped game with 60 players and 120 characters (players may app a maximum of 2 characters in the game, one per app round). There is a franchise cap of 8 characters per franchise.

▶ 02. APPLICABLE CHARACTERS.01. Canon characters whose series has been out past a month.
02. Original Characters from their own universes. This includes DnD OCs as each campaign can be unique and different.
03. Inhuman characters and they will retain their inhuman form.
04. Silent Protagonists who have shown enough clear personality. ( e.g: Link from the Zelda series, Akira from Persona 5. )
05. Canon doubles of the same character as long as both characters and/or relevant universes are distinct enough. For example, Shirou Emiya and Archer (EMIYA) are alternate versions of the same character but are distinct enough that both would be appable. However, Batman from the DCEU is too similar to Batman from the comics for them both to be appable at once. 
06. Characters who share a body with another. A player may write both characters at once or just one individually. If a players chooses to only write one character, the other would remain appable. Make sure you specify in your application how the split would work.
  07. Fictional renditions of historical people as long as they exist in a fictional setting (e.g. characters from the Fate series).

 ▶ 03. NON-APPLICABLE CHARACTERS.01. Fandom OCs of any kind, including WoLs.
02. Characters with little to no screen time or canon personality. They must at least have enough screen time to have a distinct voice and some distinctive personality traits. If you find yourself speculating wildly about what this character's personality is like, they are probably not appable. 
03. Fanon doubles of a character already played by someone else in the game. 
04. Characters under the age of 13.   Characters 13 and over are appable, but the closer they are to 13 the stricter we will be on suitability judgement.
05. Real people or historical figures. This includes renditions of historical figures from biographies (even dramatized biographies).

Additionally, we do not allow plots that pit characters against LILITH so please explain how your characters will cooperate and work alongside LILITH even if they disagree with some of their policies. Characters under the age of 14 will receive a more strict judgment.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: List 4 good personality traits & 4 negative personality traits to describe your character. Make this as concise as possible (one or two word bullet points is fine.)

PERSONALITY REFERENCE: Link their Wiki for a mod reference. If you are apping an OC, you can fill out N/A here.

POWERS & SKILLS: Characters arrive with all of their powers intact besides those that are overpowered and game breaking. List concisely the powers your character will have upon arrival in bullet point form, separating out each power into its own point. This makes it easier for the mods to process. If your character's powers rely on an item or weapon, it will come with them. 
NERFED POWERS: Powers that are game breaking and overpowered will be nerfed down. You may do this by nerfing down their power to at least 30% strength or less or completely discarding them. We do expect players to list their own nerfs; if you are not sure how to nerf a certain power, make your best guess and the mods will let you know if it needs to be nerfed further. Please review the section on powers and abilities in the FAQ if you have not already for our expectations on nerfs.

PERSONAL ITEM: This can be anything such as a weapon, sentimental item, magical item, etc. If your character relies on an item to access their powers  (such as, Iron Man's suit, Genshin Impact Visions, etc), that item already comes with them and you may use this space for something else. Items that can fit in a 6 x 3 locker will be found in their locker when they arrive; larger items will be found in their living quarters when they access their room. Explain briefly what this item is and what it does, nerfing anything gamebreaking.
ALTERNATE IDENTITY: What's the name and occupation LILITH will give your character for when they interact outside of LILITH's base?
CODE NAME CHOICE: LILITH will assign a code name to your character for the use of the network. Do you want something that teases your character and takes a jab at them? Something serious and fitting that they will be happy with? You may also list your own suggestions here or otherwise let us know we are free to go bonkers with it.
