βΆ REWARDS.
β· REWARDS
βΆ HOW IT WORKS.
βΆ HOW TO REQUEST?
LILITH rewards characters who work hard to keep Neo Tokyo safe. Special points will be awarded to characters who participate in missions and events, and these points will be uploaded into the chip in their dominant hand. These points are separate from KRYPTOS (which is the IC currency for this game), and dependent on each player's OOC participation in the game. Once points have been uploaded to their chip, the character will be able to access their available points and a menu of reward items they can purchase with these points if they so desire. The item will be delivered to them via a drone. If you would like to purchase an item your character is unlikely to ICly purchase, you can simply say it was a glitch somehow and could not be refunded.βΆ REWARD RULES.
β’ Bonus points work on the same principle as AC. The only difference is that inbox threads do not count for bonus points.βΆ AVAILABLE REWARDS.
1. Network (includes text mingle and player posts) = 1 point per tag.β’ Bonus points should be submitted with AC within the month. Reward requests using existing bonus points get submitted here. β’ You can submit for rewards at any time. Mods aim to process the reward within a week. If you do not receive a response by then, feel free to drop us a PM.
2. Player Created Logs, TDM / Simulation Log (including network tags on the TDM log), Mission Log = 2 points per tag.
3. Inbox threads count for AC but not bonus points.
β’ You do not have to wait for a mod to reply to your AC/bonus points submission to put in a rewards request. If you have the points, you can submit both at once and we will speak to you if there's an issue somewhere. You will, however, need to wait for approval before your character can receive their reward.
β’ Bonus points can still be submitted even while a player is on hiatus.
β’ Characters may request LILITH-issued weapons, technology and small upgrades for other characters. (The style upgrade, for example, will be available to the other character via a QR chip). The character receiving the gift is free to accept or decline the gift. Characters cannot request an implant surgery, powers or an item from home on the behalf of another character.
β’ LILITH will not be forcing any character to go for an implant surgery. The decision to go for the surgery has to be completely consensual. This is to promote a good relationship between LILITH and the Outsiders. This will be effective from Jan 2025.
βΆ CYBERNETIC ENHANCEMENTS: These mainly consist of cybernetic enhancements designed to enhance a person's strength, speed, agility and overall power. The procedure to install the enhancement is often excruciatingly painful and the character undergoing it will need to rest for a few days afterward to recover (Hopefully they have someone around to pamper them?). These cybernetics, while powerful, aren't perfect either. They glitch occasionally, going out of control or shutting down at the worst possible moment. (It is entirely up to players how in control they are of their new prosthetics, but a period of learning and instability is generally expected.)
CURRENT CYBERNETIC ENHANCEMENTS:
β’ Nanobot injections. These injection consists of millions and millions of tiny nanobots that restructure the bones and muscles, making them stronger and more durable. A regular human who takes these injections will gain the strength to lift up a standard car and the durability to be hit by a bus without being scathed. Cost: 100 points.
β’ Limb prosthetic: Arm/Leg. New models of limb prosthetics have been added. Characters who are already missing limbs may have a limb prosthetic attached to their stump or open wound via surgery. Characters who have two functioning limbs and want an upgrade to their arm/leg may choose to have it technologically modified. The basic arm or leg prosthetic is available at 100 points each and features super strength and endurance. The appearance of the prosthetic is up to the player (it can look robotic or similar to a flesh arm). Additional weapons and features can be stacked at 100 points each.
Prosthetic arm options:
- The base model has the ability to lift 1000kg and is unbreakable.
- Rocket Launcher
- Laser
- Machine Gun
- Blades
- Chainsaws
- Flamethrower
- Metal claws
- Super speed
- Taser
- Extendable arm able to stretch up to 20 meters
Prosthetic leg options:
- The base model has the ability to jump 50 feet in the air and is unbreakable.
- Rocket Launcher
- Laser
- Machine Gun
- Blades
- Chainsaws
- Flamethrower
- Metal claws
- Taser
- Super speed (for kicking only. To achieve super speed in running, the user will need to buy prosthetics/modifications for both legs).
To give an example, if a character wants to obtain an arm with a built in flamethrower, they will need to buy the basic prosthetic surgery and then the flamethrower add on at 200 points in total.
β’ Eye prosthetic. Characters may choose to have their eye (or eyes) replaced with a cybernetic eyeball or have one fitted if they are blind/missing their eyes. These prosthetics allow the user to zoom up to 100x and enables night and heat vision. They come already fitted with LILITH's ocular implant and the cybernetic eyeball can be removed. These eyes come in whatever color desired by the user. Cost: 100 points.
For an extra 100 points, lasers can be fitted to them.
β’ Voicebox. Characters may choose to have their vocal cords replaced with an artificial voicebox. These cybernetic vocal cords will allow them to speak in their original voice and copy the voices of other people, animals and kaiju (they cannot use these to copy the voices of LILITH staff and OOC permission is required to copy the voices of other characters). Cost: 100 points.
For an extra 100 points, they can buy a sonic scream feature that can be used in battle.
β’ Shape-changing skin grafts. This procedure involves the installation of prosthetic skin to a character's body. Thankfully, given how painful the removal of one's skin would be, they can be anaesthetized for this procedure. Following the procedure, they will look more or less normal, but will gain the ability to shape shift into a being of equivalent size to them. There can be occasional mishaps and they might have difficulty changing back on occasion. Cost: 200 points.
β’ Healing Touch. A character's hormonal system is altered to give them the ability to heal wounds up to broken bones, burns and gnashes. To activate this ability, the character will need to embrace their injured friend for a period of time. The healing effect works even quicker during some sort of physical intimacy. Cost: 70 points.
β’ Ocean Gem. The ocean gem is an external enhancement that gives the character the ability to breathe underwater and the features of a sea creature. This can include the addition of gills, scales and the fins or tail of a fish/dolphin/octopus/other marine animal. This upgrade comes as a gem that is fixed in the middle of a person's chest. When activated, nanobots are introduced into the system and work on temporarily modifying the user's body. The changes are uncomfortable but upgrades have been made to the technology so the process is no longer painful. There can be occasional glitches and they might have difficulty changing back on occasion. Cost: 100 points.
β’ Teleportation Chip. One of the newest advances in technology is coming to the LILITH base, the Teleportation Chip! Outsiders interested in traveling up to 10km without walking can request this upgrade.. for a price. Their implant will undergo a small surgery to upgrade one of their chips, allowing characters to disappear and teleport up to 10km. Look, it's not perfected just yet.. but maybe soon we can travel to another country with the blink of an eye! Nevermind the fact that the surgical procedure is excruciating to go through, it's worth it not to walk in this day and age. Cost: 200 points.
β’ Cybertentacles. This procedure involves installing robotic, tentacle-like appendages to a character's spine. These appendages are retractable and retract back into the disk-like implant imbedded into the character's spine when not in use. They can extend up to 20 meters and are prehensile, with the strength to constrict and crush a person and also the dexterity to open the lid of a jar. They are very versatile in battle, allowing a person to swing across buildings or 'walk' across the ground on only their tentacles. Cost: 200 points.
Adrenaline Pump. An enhanced gland implanted in the lower abdomen, connected to both suprarenal glands. When dormant it simply serves as a reservoir for adrenaline, but when activated a small sac of muscle contracts, sending concentrated adrenaline into the blood stream. While active the user does not feel most wounds and can even stay up from injuries that would render them unconscious. Boosts to strength, speed, and reaction times are likewise experienced. However once activated the effects cannot be switched off. The effect can last for a full minute, once it wears off the user crashes. Any injuries they have catch up to them and they risk falling unconscious on the spot. Cost: 200 points.
Wired Reflexes. In a highly invasive procedure neural boosters and adrenaline stimulators are placed throughout the body. The user appears to have glowing neon wires running under their skin like a second set of veins, and the color can be changed by the user. When activated, the system greatly boosts the user's movement speed and reflexes, allowing them to function at twice their normal speed. The effect lasts for one minute and requires a cool down period of at least a day to activate again. Cost: 300 points.
βΆ WEAPONS: Given that characters are brought in to defend Neo Tokyo, LILITH will provide them with an arsenal of weapons to use. These include basic weapons and advanced weapons. Weapons from home cannot be regained.
CURRENT WEAPONS:
β’ Primitive weapons. These include handheld weapons such as knives, swords, crossbows, axes, etc. Anything that might have been available before guns were invented. This does not include guns, bombs, bazookas or flamethrowers. Cost: 25 points.
β’ Modern weapons. These include weapons such as pistols, rifles, grenades, flamethrowers and bazookas. Any modern day (year 2023) weapon that can be carried around. Cost: 50 points.
β’ LILITH Technology: Maximum Shield. A ring that activates a sturdy forcefield that cannot be penetrated by brute force and is impenetrable to fire, electricity and ammunition. Cost: 100 points.
β’ LILITH Technology: Hermes. A pair of sleek boots that grant the user flight up to 40 meters in height. They come with pretty wings attached. Cost: 100 points.
β’ LILITH Technology: Elemental Sword. A katana that can emit Fire, Water, Wind, Light, Darkness, Ice or Lightning. Characters can only choose one element per sword. Note that the water katana is able to draw water from the atmosphere, so no water source is needed (but using it near a water source can lead to more effective attacks). Cost: 100 points.
β’ LILITH Technology: Poison Dagger. A small dagger that's able to inject an artificial virus into the bloodstream. This virus causes excruciating pain and immobilizes the muscles, capable of killing a small (dog-sized) kaiju and stunning a medium (lion-sized) kaiju. Cannot be used on humans without clearance from LILITH. If the user does not activate the poison, it acts as a regular dagger. Cost: 100 points.
β’ LILITH Technology: Kanabo. A huge, bone-shattering spiked club that emits shockwaves when used to hit something (or someone). When smashed into the ground, it is powerful enough to start a small earthquake. Cost: 100 points.
β’ LILITH: HF Smart Whip. An unassuming whip 16 feet (4.8 meters) in length, ending in a weighted tip. The thong is constructed from an adaptive nanometal capable of high frequency vibrations, allowing the whip to slice through armor, flesh, and bone. The High Frequency intensity can be lowered and even turned off to function as a less lethal weapon or utility tool. A combination of mental command and visual input allows the whip to identify targets, responding to tangle, disarm, or coil around an object to pull and or use as a swinging point. Cost: 150 points.
βΆ VEHICLES: While there are various means of travelling around Neo Tokyo provided for Outsiders, and transport to each mission mostly guarenteed by LILITH itself, there are some options for personal transport should an Outsider desire.
CURRENT VEHICLES:
β’ Hoverboard. A board with two straps for one's feet. When put on, it connects with its user's microchip, allowing the user to ride it up to distances of 40 meters. This board is typically black in colour, but once connected with a user, the user can choose the design decorating its body. Some practice might be needed to stop yourself from crashing into a building. Cost: 100 points.
β’ Motorcycle. A high-speed motorcycle with the ability to anti-gravity features that enable it to scale up walls. Able to scale up a maximum height of 40 meters. 2 people are able to ride on it safely. The decal is typically black, but once it connects to a rider, characters will be able to choose its colours and design. Cost: 120 points.
β’ Hover Car. A high speed vehicle capable of sitting up to 5 people (including the driver). This hover car does not have any wheels and instead uses the same technology as the hoverboard. It is capable of running on land and flying up to distances of 40 meters. It is also weaponized, and drivers have the choice of fixing it with lasers, a machine gun, a flamethrower or a missile. This hover car comes complete with a self-driving AI and can drive itself to its user when called (the AI may sass the driver at times). The decal is typically black but characters can choose its colours and design. Cost: 180 points.
βΆ EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENTS: Working with LILITH provides more than enough time for learning any kind of new skill, but you might be interested in... Speedrunning it just a little. There are a handful of options for educational enhancements that Outsiders can purchase.
CURRENT EDUCATIONAL ENHANCEMENTS:
Crash Course Academia. Schooling in a downloadable format! Over a set period of time, an entire curriculum's worth of knowledge is downloaded into your brain, complete with standardized testing. Upon completion with passing scores... Congratulations! You are now fully accredited! Download it now and put those skills to use in an exciting new career! Courses range from associates to various trades. Cost: Dependant (see below).
NOTE: Characters are limited to one of the following: a 2 year Associates program (500 points), a Vocational/Trade degree (300 points), and useful skills such as knitting and other DIY projects (100 points).
βΆ MISCELLENOUS ITEMS:
Various other items that might be useful to an Outsider to have, ranging from drones to holograms.
CURRENT MISC ITEMS:
β’ Roomba. Never lift a finger to clean your room again with this smart and stylish little robot! The roomba is able to sweep, mop and vacuum, and can climb up on any surface (including the ceiling) to ensure that the whole apartment is spotless! You won't even need to take the trash out, because it will disintegrate it for you. (Has been programmed against any sort of violence.) Cost: 25 points.
β’ Hummingbird Drone. This drone looks exactly like an adorable little hummingbird, but she's actually 100% cybernetic! It behaves exactly like a regular bird and each unit has their own distinct personality. It is programmed to imprint onto a character and perch on their shoulder, following them everywhere. Being a drone, it does have the ability to carry and deliver a package up to 10kg and record breathtaking views. Also, it's just cute to look at. No feeding necessary, but if characters do want to feed the birds, they enjoy bolts and screws. Cost: 50 points.
β’ Style Upgrade. This is a special upgrade to a character's chip that allows them to change the look of what they are wearing. Available styles include: Clothing from the characters' home worlds (taken from their memory), their LILITH plugsuit, popular Japanese styles, popular fashion within the United States, and desert attire. Like all technology, there is a chance it might malfunction, leaving a character in something highly embarrassing ... or nothing at all. Cost: 25 points.
β’ Together-Forever Tracker Ring. A pair of stylish bands - comes in gold, silver, or rose-gold and with a gem/diamond of your choice. Outsiders who put them on and pair them will be able to keep tabs on each other constantly. This means location tracking and an option to temporarily see, feel and hear what the other person is experiencing. One person can wear multiple rings and pair them with the rings of multiple people. It is possible to track someone without their knowledge by slipping the ring into their clothing. Cost: 75 points.
β’ Hammerspace Gloves. A pair of sleek black gloves that lets you store weapons in them through warp/dataportal technology. Tuck your weapon away and make it appear undetected! It can only store ONE WEAPON and nothing else. Cost: 150 points.
β’ Room Style Hologram. Purchase and download an easy to use app that makes decorating your boring LILITH assigned room fun! This app is somewhat of a game that features a little robot raccoon that sells you cyberspace decor to enhance the look of your real life room via a hologram. You're an interior designer now with thousands of looks to choose from, even items and looks that are from your homeworld if you are missing how your room back home looked. Pick out the items, arrange it in your cyberspace room and reflect it as a hologram for everyone to see. May be subject to microtransactions. Cost: 100 points.
β’ Cat Ears. A visor with cat-shaped ears. This visor enhances a user's vision, hearing and smell, allowing even for night and heat-seeking vision. It's also able to play music. Cost: 100 points.
βΆ ITEM REGAINS:
Through LILITH'S DNA matching technology, a method of regaining personal items from the home worlds of Outsiders has been devised!
CURRENT ITEM REGAINS:
Small Non-powered Item. All items that can be carried by a regular person would fall under this category. Example: A photograph from home, a journal, a musical instrument. Does not include weapons. Cost: 50 points.
Primitive Weapon. This includes all non-technological weapons (less advanced than a gun) available from home. Cost: 75 points.
Modern Weapon. This includes all modern weapons such as guns, bazookas, and flamethrowers available from home. Cost: 100 points.

βΆ CROWDFUNDED REGAINS:
We allow players to pool their points to purchase larger rewards that can impact the playerbase as a whole. Players can buy gifts for the entire playerbase or upgrade the base. Because these rewards can affect the entire game, more information can be found on the PLAYER PLOT page.
βΆ OTHER NOTES: LILITH technology (Excluding modern/primitive standard weapons) is built to be sturdy and reliable (with the occasional glitches meant to give players fun prompts to play with). If you feel like your character might break or take apart LILITH technology, please contact the mods.
βΆ HOW TO REQUEST?
Make a top level with your player handle, and then a comment for each character with the following information. For each new character, make a new top level.
To submit a rewards request, reply to your comment with the following code for every rewards request:
no subject
Character Name: ishmael
Character Series: limbus company
Link to AC: Here.
Requested Reward: nanobot injections!
Reward cost: 100
Points remaining: 221 - 100 = 121
APPROVED! CW: Needles, drug use
If she agrees, the procedure will begin.
By the end of it, she will probably be exhausted and need a few days to recuperate, which she can have in her room or in the medical bay. Dr. Spim is happy to sit on her lap and offer some calming purrs if she wants.
Her newfound strength and sturdiness will be felt after the recovery period but it will take her some time to get used to it. She might run into a few mishaps where she misjudges her strength and breaks something she shouldn't or shakes someone's hand way, way too hard.
If this doesn't work for you, we can negotiate a different way for her to receive her reward. As stipulated above, the augmentations are not a fun experience in general however.
